Yikes!! My life has been infiltrated by the art of glass fusing!! It’s okay though, it’s a good thing. Glass fusing has been a BIG part of my life for about four years. I started with one class and I was hooked then and there.
I have spent many nights lying awake unable to stop visualizing new pieces. I’m not sure there are enough years to create all of them. I am doing my best.
I have never had so much fun with a hobby. Even the cut and sore hands can’t stop glass fusing from being rewarding. I love just putting odd shapes together, fusing them and being suprised with the end result. When I do go into a piece with an end result in mind, I do not stray from that path. Sometimes that is a suprise too.
My husband is a wood worker and we have started to incorporate the two. It is great working together to create art. It was actually my husband who encouraged me to start fusing. Thank you, Honey!!
We are grateful to Evergreen Framing Co., Holdman Studios and the Tea Grotto for displaying our work allowing us some exposure.
My goal in creating pieces is to express my enthusiasm and love for the medium.
